We start the tour from our base camp Bræðraborg cafe. After a short introduction we start biking up the main road of the town, Aðalstræti. We bike up towards the mountains and the first steep slope that leeds us at the avalance barrier behind the houses at Urðarvegur.

We sneak behind the towering walls and bike along the backsie, popping back out to continue along the road where we find a completely different type of barrier. Up and over this one we bike against our forest in Tungudalur where we find the marvellous Buná river and waterfall.

For a great view over the fjord, we bike across the valley towards the final barrier. A short and slightly steep climb up the wall is well worth the view.

From here on it´s easy path ride back into town
