Borea Adventures offers various kinds of trips that you can see in the list below under different themes.  The 2008 season is now coming close to an end. We had a great season and were almost sold out from mid March to end of August.

The trip schedules for 2009 have now been posted on the site, the highlights being:

*    2 winter mountaineering introductory courses including a ski tour in March
*    10 ski trips in Jokulfirdir and Hornstrandir Nature Reserve in March to May
*    3 wildlife trips in the Westfjords in early June - theme can be changed to include more hiking, kayaking or sailing
*    2 expeditions to Jan Mayen island in June to July
*    2 summer trips in the Westfjords of Iceland in July - themes can be wildlife, hiking, sailing, kayaking etc
*    2 expeditions to East Greenland in August
*    3 autumn trips in the Westfjords of Iceland in September

One idea we are looking into is sail to the Faeroe Island for the Olai Festival and from there to the Westmann Islands off the south coast of Iceland to join the local festival there as well....
