Borea Adventures is run by Sigurður Jónsson (43) and Rúnar Óli Karlsson (36). They are both born in Ísafjörður and living there. They have years of experience of sailing, boating and kayaking in the area as well as mountaineering, climbing and skiing in Iceland, the Alps, North and South America. They have also worked for mountain rescue teams in Iceland for many years and received training in first-aid, mountaineering, mountain rescue, avalance rescue etc.
